Credo
The key to living well in the 21st century is not to reinvent the wheel, but to utilise the best of what exists around us. From what nature provides, thousands of years of human civilisation has revealed and modern science has discovered: it’s all here to live a happier, healthier longer life. Live a Smart life, with the focus of a mindful yogi and the noble energy of the samurais.
“To keep the body in good health is a duty…otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear.” (Buddha quote).
Meet The Founders
Stefan Tanner, Business communication and community engagement
Stefan Tanner was the pioneer to open the first Bikram Yoga school in Switzerland in 2004. His school has grown in the past 8 years into Switzerland’s largest yoga school with more than 7,000 students. Stefan has found his way to Bikram Yoga through a life-threatening illness and is now helping many yoga students and friends to overcome their own health issues.
The reason he has joined SmartEnergize is that he is from the generation of young gays in the 1980′s who lost a lot of friends to AIDS in his early twenties.
He then discovered a difference why some of his friends perished fast and some stayed healthy and survived. When he got infected with HIV himself back in 1996, he took a 6-month sabbatical traveling around the world to visit his long-term survival friends. All of those friends didn’t give in to their illness and kept a positive mindset which greatly reduced their stress levels.
